Weighing cria

It is very important for the first week or two of a crias life keep record of weight gain. We like to see our cria gain a pound per day.

With Rainsocks and Tah Dah it was like a human trip to the doctor. Rainsocks would follow us to the scale and stand there looking at the scale as if she knew what she was looking at. Great mom !

Rainsocks will go to her new home as a foundation alpaca this spring (2011). She will be a great producer for Harvest Moom Hollow Alpacas.
